... Well, at least her head is finished XD Had some interesting learning experiences while working on this Garchomp. I tried something new with the fabric by adding more space for sewing. Also, resin eyes are amazing I love how this came out. The only problem I really encountered was there was an incident with the blow dryer D: Stupid heat, it burned a small part into the right side of the face. In my opinion, it kind of looks like a scar, so it sort of fits the character, however it still makes me upset to know I burned it RIGHT after it was all done l:[ Ah well.
Up next will be the black bodysuit and the TAIL. Can't wait to do that one Looks like it'll be great fun! It's going to be attached directly to the suit, not on a belt. (This way it'll look more natural). After that I can carve all the spikes, add some foam padding for definition, and then the actual bodysuit! Sadly, I won't be able to wear the head for 12 weeks (stupid piercings), so that means any cons coming up I won't be able to wear her to Ah well.
This project was completely hand sewn (because my new mini hand sewing machine fails, lol) and everything on it was basically hand-made. The eyes are cast resin and the teeth are clay. Any paint used was outdoor acrylic.
I'm so happy to get this done Haha! Hope everyone enjoys it!
I'm in the process of making a shark fursuit so I'll be using this head as a reference cx
love the eyes!
